Around Again Of Rochester, NY
One month after the creation of The Around Again Groups, it seemed that the
area of coverage might better be served by dividing the group
into two smaller areas. In November of 2004, after a vote by group members, it
was decided that a new Rochester, NY group
would be formed, and the Western New York group would serve the Buffalo, NY
area. The center "dividing line" was Batavia, NY.
Around Again of Rochester, NY has grown to the same size as it's older
"sister" group and is a thriving Free Sharing community.
With the reformation of the original Rochester Freecycle™
into a ReUseIt group in July of 2007, Around Again of Rochester is now the
oldest
Free Sharing group (without a name change) serving the Rochester, NY Metro area.
